Copyright
- The copyright of all the images belongs to the Horst Tappe Foundation
- This copyright excludes the reproduction of an image in any form whatsoever, by any means, on any medium or in any media, without the prior agreement of the copyright owners.
Digital imprint
- The Digimarc ID 511208 is embedded in the images distributed digitally
- A search engine is used to trace the use of images on websites
- The foundation reserves the right to any form of redress if it observes that a photograph has been reproduced without prior agreement.
How can the presence of an imprint be checked?
- The programmes Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements have a Digimarc filter that enables the presence of the Digimarc ID 511208 to be checked in a digital image:
Filter > Digimarc > Read Watermark
- For Windows and Internet Explorer, the programme Digimarc Reader also enables the presence of a digital imprint to be checked automatically
- If you use a digital image that does not have an imprint, you probably have an image that has been digitised from an original print; contact us or the agency to check you have the right to use the image.
